Please be aware, given the age and minimalist nature of this device, it is not suited to a GUI. There are plenty of modern tools available for the Arch console that run extremely smooth. Start up time is around one minute.
The only upgrade you may want to consider is a new battery. This device requires being plugged in. Other than that it’s good to go.
I really like this device, and have enjoyed working with it. I believe it could be of good use to anyone looking to really get into Linux as a hobby or for studying.
